6 a.m. Prana walk...inhale, inhale, exhale..continue. Inhale 6 count, Exhale 6 count. Red fox waits her turn to cross the road. To the mat, beautiful vinyasa with Amba Stapleton delivered with humor. I am attached to Kripalu granola. Of value: 5 minute prana flow, assisted ujjayi and Self Awakening Yoga with Don Stapleton. Of digestive value: roasted beets, roasted yams. A cool realization; a space has been created for me to really listen and feel the chunks of junk. I feel like laying on the mat and being attentive to a deep healing. It is necessary. It is a pure luxury to follow directions and place my somewhat malleable inner and less malleable outer body into the tender care of my teachers. These are the hands of the ages, all the masters are here at Kripalu to tend me today.

Don & Amba Stapleton offering 'Practice & Pranaymama' @ Kripalu for next 10 days. I feel the tug back to my center. The breath is grounding and the breath is elating. A high state of grace. A space in time created for exploration in the automatic and controllable rhythmic pumping of air. In and out , in and out, in and out... up , up and away.. i'm off!

Returned from Kripalu Module 3 (500 hour yoga teacher training) on May 10 and now I am returning on Friday for another 10 day module. My experience, the after effects and the shift in perspective since early May is marked. The focus of Mod 3 training was transformation and spirit. It was real, carefully tread upon, scooped from deep within and subjected to rites and ceremony. I committed to allowing myself to practice. I committed to releasing a bothersome defect. I have asked Spirit to move. Not lightly. I am different in a big way since my Resolve.
Now, to prepare for another turn inward. A return to the womb of fire and transformation.
